I love these a waffle lot ❤️ Protein Waffles because I'm so so done with having that vanilla protein shake all.the.time. This is a 10x better way to get that protein in. My waffles were light and crispy, but they can also turn out fluffy depending on the protein powder.🧇🍓One very important tip though coz that's what messed up: Do not - I repeat, do not - overfill the waffle iron. That batter's gonna rise quite a bit, and you don't want to waste any of it by having it ooze out of the machine from the sides do you?

Instructions
Preheat and lightly grease and preheat waffle iron. In a small bowl, combine and uniformly mix protein powder and baking powder. In a large bowl whisk egg, oil and water as required to thin the batter out. Pour half batter into prepared waffle iron. Do not fill it all the way to the top or the batter will spill out. Cook for about 3-4 minutes or according to manufacturer instructions. Remove from waffle from iron and repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm!View original recipe
