Chocolate Mousse Protein Bars are a healthy and delicious snack to indulge with no guilt. Easy, no bake recipe with a high protein chocolate base, mousse and chocolate topping.

What you need

cup oat flour

tbsp unsweetened cocoa

cup almond butter

tbsp maple syrup

tbsp chocolate chunks

tsp coconut oil
Instructions
Chocolate Base: 1 In a bowl, combine chocolate protein powder, oat flour, cocoa powder, coconut flour and sweetener. 2 Add applesauce and milk (little at a time) to form a dough. 3 Transfer to prepared loaf pan, and use back of spoon/sparula to press down and spread. Mousse Layer: 5 In the same bowl, stir together chocolate protein powder, unflavored protein powder, almond butter powder, cocoa powder, almond butter, maple syrup and milk (little at a time). 6 Spread on top of base layer (use back of spoon or spatula to smoothen). 7 Place in freezer 15 minutes.Remove and cut into 6 bars. Chocolate Topping: 10 Place the chopped chocolate and coconut oil in a shallow bowl and microwave for about 40 seconds - at 15 second intervals - until it’s completely melted. Let cool about 5 mins. 11 Dip bar in melted chocolate and place on cooling rack to cool.View original recipe
