Chocolate Butterscotch Protein Bars

Soft and chewy Chocolate Butterscotch Protein bars with a base, caramel-y later and all the chocolate and butterscotch chips on top. Easy, no bake and healthy chocolate butterscotch squares for a sugar free treat.

What you need

tbsp unsweetened cocoa

cup oat flour

cup coconut flour

tbsp maple syrup

tbsp water

tsp vanilla extract

tbsp butterscotch chips

tbsp chocolate chips
Instructions
0 Line a 8 x 4” loaf pan with parchment paper; leave an overhang to lift out later. Base: 2 In a bowl, combine chocolate protein powder, cocoa powder, oat flour and coconut flour. 3 Add applesauce and milk (little at a time) to form a dough. 4 Transfer to prepared loaf pan, and use back of spoon/sparula to press down and spread. Protein Caramel: 6 In the same bowl, stir together peanut butter powder, almond butter, vanilla protein powder, unflavored protein powder, maple syrup, water (1 tsp at a time) and vanilla. 7 Spread on top of base layer and use back of spoon to smoothen. Chips: 9 Top with butterscotch chips and chocolate chips; Press down firmly. 10 Slice into 8 bars.View original recipe
