Unexpectedly good Chocolate Maple Bars sweetened with protein powder and topped with sugar-free chocolate. This healthy maple chocolate dessert bar is a real flavor bomb!

Preheat oven to 350°F and line a loaf pan with parchment paper (or grease).
In a bowl combine vanilla protein powder, almond butter powder, flour, coconut four, sugar alternative and baking soda.
In another bowl, place whisk applesauce, egg, almond butter and maple flavor.
Add dry mix into wet and gently fold until uniform.
Pour batter into greased pan and spread evenly with a spatula or back of a spoon.
Bake about 13-15 minutes; Tester inserted should come out clean.
Transfer to cooling rack to cool completely.
Chocolate Topping:
Place the chocolate chips and coconut oil in a microwave safe bowl and microwave at 30 second intervals, stirring - for about 45 seconds until completely melted.
Let cool slightly.
Spread over bars; Top with crushed chocolate cereal.
Slice into 8 bars.
